I know the one at southern terminal and the one at the casino extend the length of the interchange (under the toll booths) could easily accommodate at least 50 people. The the ones that say “underground” are like a storm cellar that a homeowner could buy. Depending how big the people are you could probably fit 15, maybe 20 people. I was wondering if these shelters were intended primarily for turnpike employees, or to accommodate motorists in the area as well. Sounds like they’re well-equipped.
