Position Summary This position will conduct research connected to the host-pathogeninteraction of the bacterium Bordetella and the animal host,including cloning and expressing various genes and purifying geneproducts for in vitro and in vivo experimentation. Collaborativework with others will include experiments in the lab and mentorshipof graduate and undergraduate students. As with other lab members,the goal is for each to contribute to and author multiple publishedpapers each year.
