Hardik Pandya reunites with brother Krunal in New Zealand for T20I series

first_imgPandya brothers Hardik and Krunal have reunited in India colours in far away New Zealand for a three-match T20I series starting Wednesday. Both brothers will be expected to play crucial roles as India seek to end their tour of Australia and New Zealand on a high.Hardik Pandya had debuted for India back in 2016 and has since been an integral part of Indian teams across formats. Krunal made his international debut against the West Indies last year and made an immediate impression.Hardik and Krunal are key for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League and both brothers had dreamt of playing for India together.This is a happy moment for Hardik Pandya who had stirred up a strom after his sexist comments on Koffee with Karan. While Rahul stayed back at home to play for India A alongside Krunal, Hardik flew out to New Zealand and made significant contributions in the third and fifth ODIs as India won the series 4-1.Krunal Pandya has so far played only T20 cricket for India. He was part of the team for matched against West Indies in India and Australia in Australia. Thanks to help from Krunal and others in the Indian cricket fraternity, Martin was declared out of danger.Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant, who was rested for the ODI series vs Australia and New Zealand with MS Dhoni joining the team, is back in the squad for the T20I series after an eventful tour in Australia.Soon after reaching New Zealand, Pant was seen at the nets working on his batting skills. Pant is known for his unorthodox and outlandish shots and he was once again at it in the nets.In a video posted by BCCI, Pant can be seen trying an outrageous shot at a yorker length delivery.
